Flashback...Episode 1: sometime in early October when baby bunny was just about 11 weeks oldIt was a Friday after work...I was on my way to Landmark to meet with daddy bunny when I first felt
IT. Then as the FX (or adventure ata yon) was cruising along Ayala, it became really bad. The pain that I felt was getting stronger, it's like I was having a severe case of dysmenorrhea. I was perspiring and was having leg cramps. Add to that na nakaupo ako sa likod at Adventure nga ata yon kasi ang baba ng upuan. I told daddy bunny about this so he fetched me from the unloading zone and then we went straight home. The walk from Landmark to the taxi terminal in SM was hell.
I texted Dra. Aileen and she instructed me to drink Duvadilan every 8 hrs and go to the clinic for a checkup the next day. It was baaaad. I was scared. I was worried. Good thing, after a week-long bedrest, I was back in the game and then had a fairly easy time. I didn't feel anything bad for months and my baby's growing fast. I am finally happy, but of course still very careful.
Episode 2: Last Tuesday. Baby bunny is now 25 weeksMy happy, abnormal contraction-free days are over. After 3 months of pregnancy bliss, I felt
IT again. This time it was milder and shorter. But there's no mistaking it. The same dysmenorrhea feeling. The same cold perspiration. Just like the first one, I didn't know the exact thing that caused it but most probably just the stress level of the day at work. Tuesdays and Fridays are bad, stressful days for me. The good thing was when I got home and took a rest, the cramps subsided. The bad thing was, that night, I had a slight fever. I had to work form home last Wednesday and then took a half day Thursday (but ended up working at night
)and then really took a sick leave on Friday. I only felt better during the weekend.
Present day...Episode 3: YesterdayI was just getting back on my feet and back to work. It was just a week but then i felt
IT again. It was like a monster that's always lurking in the dark. Unlike the previous two, this time I can pinpoint exactly what caused the contraction. Damn metadata. I knew I was stressed already so I took a quick break and walked over to Rog's cube. Nakikain ng fruit loops and I thought that will help coz I love them.
But then, only a few minutes after that, I felt the pain. And then I can't take it anymore. I told daddy bunny and we went straight home. Now, I really hate Tuesdays.
These episodes are a real pain in the neck. They're always scary no matter how strong or light a contraction is. This time, Dra. Aileen advised me to take a leave if I feel anything again. Sana huwag nang maulit (sa 9th month na para labor pains), at ayoko din magleave...Baka patayin na ako ni Rog. hahaha!
