For the past weeks, I've had too many blog-worthy experiences that I just never had the chance to write in the end...I'm spending my morning commutes forming the words in my head, vowing to blog it when I had a chance at work then in the end, it's another morning commute and I realize that I didn't blog about it the previous day.
This new lifestyle is not easy. There are just so many things and transitions happening in my life that it's sometimes too overwhelming. But I ain't complaining, don't get me wrong. I love it! and as much as I can (and I must or else..) I'm embracing everything.
Gone were the days when I would just text message my boss that I'm not feeling well, rest at home and come in the office the next day. Now if I do that, I still would, at least, check my mails, assign tasks, follow up with critical tasks, etc. Daily nosebleed is not uncommon either (kelangan ko ata mag-isip ng english for emails everyday. haha!)
Aside from these new updates, I'm still participating in extra curriculars at wok. (what i really rave for this post, really. XD) For the past 3 years or so, I've been helping organize birthday surprises, team buildings, parties, etc... This is the venue where I showcase my other "talents". hehe! Now, we're working on a project that will take us to the next level. haha! Although showing my vids in the entire department - 700+ peeps - is not new, this the first time that I'll be working with other teams to create our video.
I'm enjoying it so far...It's kinda tiring though.. What with staff meetings, creating screenplays, storyboards, logistics, presenting to the bosses, etc...But today, I feel a certain sense of pride as we finish working on the shoot that others deemed impossible to achieve.
Of course makapal talaga mukha ko, but it also takes great actors, luck (that we'll not get to jail) and a dedicated brother to pull off shooting outside GT Tower in Ayala (with the MAPSA just some few feet away), inside the MRT (na super puno pa nung sumakay kami), at a park and a bridge between flyovers and the South Super Hi-way!
Pulling off the bridge scene was the most nerve wracking, what with people passing the whole shoot and also manong guard asking what the hell are we doing there.!?! Our answer: "project po sa school". bwahahhahaha! Good thing was everyone can still pass as college students! XD Then his next question: "saang school kayo?" My bro quickly said: UST. My thought was "buti na lang hindi nagsabay sumagot mga mokong tapos magka-ibang school sasabihin" hahahaha! Great! Manong guard left us to finish the shoot. Our cover wasn't blown.
By lunchtime we've wrapped up the shoot and with hungry, empty tummies, we hopped in the MRT then went home.
Activities like these are what make my working life so exciting, no matter how busy I get with my work. It's the feeling of accomplishment and of course, being young! -- parang gumagawa lang ng project sa school. hehehe ~_*
