August is Breastfeeding Month

In honor of the Breastfeeding Month, I want to do my fair share to help mothers give the best milk for their babies. At around Yui's 3rd month, my milk supply has been established and I can produce around 35oz daily. On the other hand, her intake is less than that so by now my milk has literally taken over our freezer.

There are around 35 bags of 8oz of breastmilk sticks (around 280oz) inside which leaves us just enough space for a tub of ice cream and my handy dandy Fridge-to-go bag.


So to help advocate breastfeeding in my own little way, I will donate some 20 bags of milk to the Makati milk bank (which turned out to be located just around the corner from our house) and to a fellow Girltalker.

    wow, madami na pala yung 35oz? hehe! average pa nga yon eh, minsan umabot pa ako ng 40s haha! pero bihira naman in fairness.. ;) sabi kasi di ba supply and demand ang ating milk...eh demanding ako sa aking boobies! bwahahahaha! kaya nga super puno na yung freezer kaya naisipan ko nang mag-donate ng iba hehehe :D
