Weekend with Mommy Esther

- my grandma, mommy Esther, visited me from California.
- went with Khandice and Toinks
- we spent the weekend with Auntie Julie's family at Loves Park, IL
- attended Auntie Julie's daughter, Krystal's 18th birthday party. feeling teens din kami kunwari.
- puro si mommy makikita dito...my very own model!

Hindi nakakatawa kasi masakit pero siguro sa mga nakakita sa akin, funny. Eh kasi naman mabagal na nga ako maglakad but it still happened! BLAG! Akala ko sa pelikula lang nangyayari yung nadudulas sa snow sa sidewalk...pwede din pala sa totoong buhay.

My wrist hurt. And I think I'm sore. =(

Tales of a Commuter - Chicago Edition Week 4

Aba akalain mo yun, it's my 4th week already pero 2nd blooper blog ko pa lang! It's a miracle!

Random bloopie #1:
Kanina nasa Lower Level (LL) ako magpapainit ng baong lunch (don lang may microwave so kelangan talagang bumaba). I'm all alone at walang kasama. Eh di nagmamadali ako, placed my lunchbox in the first microwave that I saw. Press "Cook time". Press time "1:00". Okay.. Okay. Press "Start".. ayaw! aba! Press "Start" ulit. ayaw pa din. Press "Start" one more time. Ayaw pa din. Potek, pinagpapawisan na ako, kahit ang lamig. At madaming mga tao don na di ko kilala. Lipat na lang ako ibang microwave. ayun, gumana naman. bwisit na microwave yon. Pinahirapan pa ako.

Random Bloopie #2:
Last Friday manonood kami ng Matchbox Twenty concert, usapan magkikita ng 5PM sa office lobby. Since work from home, galing ako ng apartment. duh. work from home nga eh. So ayon, I miscalculated the time, ended up leaving the apartment 3mins before 5. I rushed to the bus stop, aba walang bus! kung kelan naman kailangan ko ng bus. I ended up walking/running papuntang office. Okay lang sana di ba?! Sanay naman ako maglakad. Ang kaso nag-snow the night before. Mga tipong 3 inches lang naman yung snow sa side walk. Hmm so medyo ma-snow, madulas pero keri lang. Tapos sa isang intersection, nalinlang ako ng isang gutter..akala ko solid ground...may tunaw na yelo pala. bwahahaha! Basa ang nike free! squish squish.

Random Bloopie #3:
Dati pa to, mga first week ko ata...Gusto ko sana magkape sa pantry. Pero sosyal kasi kape dito..."brewed" kuno. Akala ko tuwing kukuha ka ng kape, kelangan mo mag-brew. so pinindot ko "Brew".Antay ako, wala. Antay pa konti. wala pa din. Alis na lang ako. Pagbalik ko after ilang minutes, nakita ko yung isang babae kumuha ng kape, may pinipindot lang pala don para lumabas yung kape (at take note: di mo na kailangan mag-brew everytime!) geeeshhh
