Baby Bunny Tales: It's Confirmed! It's a....

We just came from In My Womb today to have a Fetal Biometry with Gender Determination ultrasound and we're really happy to finally see and know what baby bunny is...

We're very happy with the news, and syempre not just because she's a she, but also because the doctor said she's doing just fine. Yehey! We got quite a few mug shots of her too.

Here's baby bunny "facing the camera" na parang nagpapa-picture talaga..

Can't wait to see her in 3D

Preggy Tales: Of train rides and weight gain

Because of what happened the past two weeks, I went to Dra. Aileen today for a check-up even though Feb. 7 pa yung dapat na scheduled next visit namin. I was hoping na magpa-ultrasound na din.. hehehe.. pero sayang, sa next visit na lang daw as planned. Oh well, di bale, oks lang. Daming haka-haka.

There were two things that really struck me from today's visit. First, nag-MRT lang kami kasi tulog si "Uncle Bunny"/driver/best man. At this time, gusto naman namin dumating ng maaga doon sa clinic, parati na lang kasi kaming late. hehe! This is the first time we rode the MRT again in a long while. How sweet! 2 Thumbs up kayo mga manong!

The other thing that really stood out from the entire check up is when Dra. Aileen told me that I should watch my diet daw. hahahaha!! First time ko lang narinig yon sa buong buhay ko, grabe! hahahaha! I gained 4 lbs kasi in just 2 weeks after my last visit. hehehe!

Overall, I'm really glad that baby is doing fine. Super likot at almost whole day eh nag-ta-taebo ata sya sa loob.

Here's chubby mommy bunny at 26 weeks:

Episode 3: Pregnancy Scare and Frustrations

Flashback...

Episode 1: sometime in early October when baby bunny was just about 11 weeks old

It was a Friday after work...I was on my way to Landmark to meet with daddy bunny when I first felt IT. Then as the FX (or adventure ata yon) was cruising along Ayala, it became really bad. The pain that I felt was getting stronger, it's like I was having a severe case of dysmenorrhea. I was perspiring and was having leg cramps. Add to that na nakaupo ako sa likod at Adventure nga ata yon kasi ang baba ng upuan. I told daddy bunny about this so he fetched me from the unloading zone and then we went straight home. The walk from Landmark to the taxi terminal in SM was hell. I texted Dra. Aileen and she instructed me to drink Duvadilan every 8 hrs and go to the clinic for a checkup the next day. It was baaaad. I was scared. I was worried. Good thing, after a week-long bedrest, I was back in the game and then had a fairly easy time. I didn't feel anything bad for months and my baby's growing fast. I am finally happy, but of course still very careful.

Episode 2: Last Tuesday. Baby bunny is now 25 weeks

My happy, abnormal contraction-free days are over. After 3 months of pregnancy bliss, I felt IT again. This time it was milder and shorter. But there's no mistaking it. The same dysmenorrhea feeling. The same cold perspiration. Just like the first one, I didn't know the exact thing that caused it but most probably just the stress level of the day at work. Tuesdays and Fridays are bad, stressful days for me. The good thing was when I got home and took a rest, the cramps subsided. The bad thing was, that night, I had a slight fever. I had to work form home last Wednesday and then took a half day Thursday (but ended up working at night )and then really took a sick leave on Friday. I only felt better during the weekend.

Present day...

Episode 3: Yesterday

I was just getting back on my feet and back to work. It was just a week but then i felt IT again. It was like a monster that's always lurking in the dark. Unlike the previous two, this time I can pinpoint exactly what caused the contraction. Damn metadata. I knew I was stressed already so I took a quick break and walked over to Rog's cube. Nakikain ng fruit loops and I thought that will help coz I love them. But then, only a few minutes after that, I felt the pain. And then I can't take it anymore. I told daddy bunny and we went straight home. Now, I really hate Tuesdays.

These episodes are a real pain in the neck. They're always scary no matter how strong or light a contraction is. This time, Dra. Aileen advised me to take a leave if I feel anything again.

Stress Stress Go Away..Come again another day...little bunny wants to play

Pagbabalik-tanaw...

Next month, I'll be with this company for 5 years. It's like I never left...)

Anyways, just found these shots from my "baul collection" and wanted to share for everyone's entertainment.

Baby Wishlist: Funky Feet: "not-quite shoes"

We're really excited to know what Baby Bunny is (kung girl, boy, with spots or stripes ba sya...), but when we went to the OB yesterday, Dra. Aileen said we'll wait na lang until our next visit next month for the ultrasound. We already had an ultrasound kasi last Dec. 28 in which, unfortunately, baby Bunny was really shy.

Anyway, one of the changes that we had since we had baby Bunny is that hindi na Cosmo at FHM ang mag collection namin. I started buying Good Housekeeping and Smart Parenting mags na. haha. Serious na daw. Not sure though if I'll be buying FHM again...kung kaya ng budget or better yet baka si brother AC na lang bibili. hehe. So ayun, in last Dec's issue of GH, I saw this article on two moms who set up a business that sell baby stuffs that are affordable and eco-friendly. I checked their site: Indigo baby and found them to be really cool. I might buy from them one of these days.

The first thing that caught my eye, are their Funky Feet socks. They look really cute and I can't wait to buy one. Kaso I still have to wait until at least next month so I'll know what design to buy.

Here are my top designs. We'll just pick the final one once we know if she's a she or he's a he.

For a baby Bunny boy : little Baby Sneakers socks

For a baby Bunny girl: little cute "Bows in her toes" socks

I CAN'T WAIT!
